On March 7th, the U.S. State Department will hold the only public meeting in the country on a proposed international tar sands pipeline expansion which would increase the flow of the world's dirtiest oil across the Mississippi River and through the tribal territory and wild rice beds of northern Minnesota.
In addition, community members are holding an event before the public meeting to showcase resistance and local low-carbon solutions. This will be a powerful day to show up for.

President Trump's State Department is trying to expand the flow of tar sands across our borders with as little public involvement as possible, so it's important that we show up and pack the room and let them know why this project is a disaster in the making for Minnesota, our climate, and our water.
Join us in Bemidji!
